The Pioneer Club on the Greek mold were done with textured. The Cap Dash were matte/semi-gloss.
The base color vinyl for the textured is a bright white, while the matte looks white straight on, but has silvery, pearlescent qualities when angled to the light.
The textured feels great, but the matte makes the colors a bit brighter. The textured is also very shiny when held at an angle to the light. The matte doesn’t reflect hardly at all, it just looks brighter.
Textured on the left, matte on the right:
I’m biased because I prefer the matte much more…the bright colors and no glare have me sold, but I also love smooth inlays on clay chips. However, if you really like textured inlays, these textured labels may be a better fit for you.
Truth is, they’re both beautiful and MILES ahead of previous standard ceramic printed chips.
