I would be surprised if the majority of NAGB chips see the felt, but yes, some people do (keep an eye on the Home Games thread).

Honestly if you don’t use NAGB’s that’s lowkey sad. I’ll drop bread on singles to look at. But if I’m throwing the cash down for a set of NAGB’s it’s seeing play!

I’m a singles mostly (not that into sets other than a dunes set for the home game) but those tigers (for the fake Nepal casino)are beautiful and most of those molds were destroyed is my understanding so the bear paw edge and other fancy designs for real Paulsons won’t be seen again, the tiger was the last set. Someone please keep a few uncirculated.

I’m Team CPC. For an average of $3 or so a chip you can have a one of a kind clay set. Sure, the Tiger Palace are fun to look at but knowing that so many other people have an identical set devalues them to me. Just my opinion.

I agree. Color combos sure. But at least use a different spot pattern when it comes to a 4+ color chip. The combinations are endless.

Multiple 4+ color chips I should say. After doing tons and tons of design, those are the chips that take extra work to look good. I would never have an issue with someone “copying” my cash $1 for example since chips like that are pretty standard to create

Have to be honest, just because I stated I love a color combo I’m not going to pitchfork a guy who joined a forum less than a year ago, probably saw your set, got excited, and used it. Not sure how that comes across as “I’m all about it”. And I have to admit, it’s been a while since I’ve looked at the Moonlight set so I truly don’t know what other chips he copied. I only know of the charcoal one off the top of my head because that one has always stood out to me and I’ve had those exact colors mocked up multiple ways.

I will agree that he never should have asked you permission if he was just going to do it anyway.

Also, everyone who truly knows me knows I can’t stand CPC’s “tri-moon”. It should be called “half-circle”. I’ve tried to like it, but I just can’t.
I’ll go 3916 all day everyday over it.
