Thoughts on Ultrasonic cleaning of chips?

I've used an ultrasonic on chips with a couple different recipes but feel that all results seemed to "change" the texture or feel of the chip making it rough, almost pitted.

I have to say the results are bad and I don't think I'd buy chips cleaned in a US,

How to clean the Paradise dig chips with cement/concrete?

Meticulously!! With a magnifier, sadly some of the staining will not go away but I'm working on a solution!

Here are mine, clean enough to play with, kind of adds character, gets people to ask "what's with these chips?"

But on the other hand, would be nice to have them all clean!
