I am not welcome there. Well at least by lil Tommy and his gang. Or I would. If the complainant here wanted to pm me any details I could see if I was able to help at all but it sounds like he’s got it handled.
 
Transparency is key.

Ever chip I’ve ever sold had so much information, packing pictures, tracking details, receipts, and even pictures of me putting it in the mailbox or dropping it off at the counter.

Some singles, some multi thousands of dollars as some of you very much are aware of and have experienced.

Being transparent and a grown up would help all of the above dumb stuff. But then again, many people are idiots, imbeciles, morons and retards. So it’s gonna be a pipe dream.

So, I deal with select circles, and communicate with them individually.

But back on topic, @Jers28 return those chips and get your refund. I thought you had already done so. Unfortunately, imo, as the newer party, you have to take the “risk” of shipping the chips back first. Or if things have really degraded to the point there is no trust, then a 3rd party escrow should be used. I would be happy to provide this, as I’m sure others would.

I’d happily ship them to you. He’s not behaved as an adult, let alone a trust worthy adult from the jump. Zero chance I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt now. I’ve tried and tried. I’d be thrilled to share every single word said on both sides. I guarantee he would not. So, I’ll be happy to take you up on your offer. I was literally going to inquire if someone would be willing to act as an intermediary/escrow. I just hadn’t figured out how to do so with tact, as I’m trying not to smear the guy, in spite of everything. 🙏🏻

I haven’t returned them as of this post. His response of tough and that he wasn’t refunding me made it seem insane to return them. At least now I have the option of selling them and recouping some of my losses.
Sorry, but that's just unacceptable. If the party in question is unwilling to right their wrong (which they admitted is their fault), that needs to be escalated.
 
Guys, I really appreciate the support, but I sincerely think this was an honest mistake. While it was handled quite poorly, I can name a dozen times where I was dead to rights absolutely 100% wrong on some issue with my wife (for example) and initially got defensive and handled it poorly. I think that’s all this is. Hopefully a third party escrow solution will help bring a speedy resolution and this will all be put to bed. 🤞🏻

Best of luck to you in having the situation rectified. However, I think it's a given that we are always 100% wrong on all issues with the wife.
There is also a 3rd party "escrow" solution of sorts. Use regular Paypal and just pay the seller the 3% extra.
