U.K. shipping prices out of control?

A potential buyer on the orange site was interested in one rack of minty RHCs, and wanted to know the cost of shipping with insurance from the U.S. to U.K. before we sealed the deal.

USPS wants $95 minimum.

UPS wants $230.

This again is for *one rack* in a small box.

WTF? Has it been like this a while?

(There was an option more in the $40 range from USPS but with no tracking or insurance.)

It's been getting really bad. Paid $100 for a MFRB recently... In 5 years I may as well buy a plane ticket to the US to pick up my shit. LOL!

I hadn't noticed.
I've been using my reshipper (myus) for years now, and i don't see such extreme increases. Granted, they may have bulk prices and contracts, but still gives me plenty options under $30 for a rack. Maybe check those listed for a quote?
