I am curious what the asking price will be. I suspect it's a passion project where you're happy if you break even.

I’m very happy with my CPC set. This makes a lot of sense after his previous post asking for more orders.

Also, what’s the appeal of the Ewing mold? Doesn’t interest me at all.

There's no way NAGB killed CPC demand. It's a completely different product and price point, especially w/ customization. Tina definitely did though. Can't compete with China-pricing for customs and so on.

My point, if Angel Playing Card Co. wouldn't make the chips, and if we're being honest here, the only one paying exorbitant pricing is the end buyer as the creator only paid 2-3 $ a chip, and they stayed with their "we only sell to licensed casinos" format, there's a few hundred thousand chips floating around the market that should have never been produced.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate that the buys got through, I love it, I hate the price gouging that occurred from the "originator and the secondary vultures that marked them up even further. But that's all in another thread.

So, I believe that they did have a profound impact because all those folks wouldn't have 100% gone to Tinas.

With CPC being the ONLY available option for current production high quality clay chips, I can’t help but feel there has to be a viable model for that business.

With the right stock product offering, marketing, technology (web interface), and pricing - I just have to think it could be done.

Edit: Occasionsl NAGB’s aside which are largely sold to PCF’rs. I’m assuming the bread and butter would be the broader mkt that wants a nice set of chips.

I'm sure as a few others are or will, we are exploring the situation. You may be right.

If you wanted to increase membership you could sell to pokerchipper members only. Take it a step forward and not only must they be a member but they must denounce pcf
They have fun there too... everyone very careful to avoid the wrath! lol
