A while ago, I was trying to come up with a classic New Orleans themed design. I came up with a pretty crude, really old school version of this design.
I've redone it to put on a set of Burt co. Tri Club chips. All comments are welcomed and (y) or (n) would work too.

I like that you have a background. Too many custom designs dont utilize the whole label they just stick an image or words on a white label. Kudos

Thank you. That's exactly what I had done on the original and it seemed really "old school" but it was too much so, really crude:

I was just there two weeks ago. Cool inlay!

With the green and yellow text coloring, you're a purple away from Mardi Gras colors. Not saying I would or wouldn't recommend that; just something to think about.
 
Thank you. I grew up here and Jackson Square is just so iconic. Did you play at Caesar's (formerly Harrah's)? You're right about the purple, green gold. I did try purple for the text, but it just didn't appeal to me.

That's awesome! Went to Brennan's and Commanders, but honestly The Corner Oyster House or whatever it's called right on the corner of Jackson Square was honestly more enjoyable than Brennan's. We stayed at Hilton Riverside right across the street, so Caesar's got a ton of burn. Taught all my friends 3 Card Poker. They all won, one of them a lot. I lost. A lot. Fckers lol.

I figured the purple wouldn't work but I'd be remiss not to mention it.

If I have a sec I'll edit this post w/ a couple pictures from Jackson Square and a couple restaurants on it. Took a few good ones of what is on your inlay actually.

@rieguy Glad you enjoyed! The food down here is the real hook, even something simple like coffee and beignets. Love that stuff. I once read that Jackson Square/St. Louis Cathedral is the most photographed place in the south. Your idea is a good one though - I'm having these shipped to me right now from Danny:

Oh man that chip is amazing. I love silly character-inlays. Beautiful.

it is good.but if i were you, I will add more feature onto the outer circle to cover those top hat and cane area to make your poker chip look like unique and special. Attached is some other customer's design. maybe you can learn something from them.

You must be referring to the "edge spots". I see what you mean but your examples seem to be ceramic chips. This label design is being put onto existing clay chips which have edge spots that cannot be modified. They are actually Burt Co. triclub mold chips that are no longer produced. The hat and cane on my mockup is just an example of the label on a chip. I do like your examples though, they're very well done.

Your remarkable sensitivity and intelligence are clearly reflected in your business's outstanding success. Maybe in the future, you have another option. ;)

A vendor tag and verified user check is required to commercially sell here on chipper.
