I was thinking of getting a topper for my table to play a bit of Craps on our monthly game nights. My table is an 8 seater though so it's a bit smaller than a 10 seater Barrington. Not sure it will work.

Craps tables are pretty big right? I don't have any casinos close by so it's been awhile since I've actually seen one.

Has anybody tried it at home?

You can get a craps layout topper and one of those small backstop things for one end. I believe @Pinkdan had a similar setup.

I opted for the 12 footer. There was a 14 footer too

The actual table layouts are massive. Couldn’t even fit it on my poker table to get a good photo of it let alone play on it. Don’t know what I’m going to do with this thing. If anyone’s in the market for a huge layout PM me :ROFLMAO:.

BUILD A TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use a topper on my table. We don't play for money, just for fun with the family while watching a game, having drinks etc. The diamond rubber is pretty heavy, you don't even need support for it.View attachment 15294
Where did you get that topper? I am a trainer at my casino and that would be a great thing to have as a loaner for the students. It would also be pretty cool to use at home.

I picked it up on ebay. It looks and works great. I was picky, and wanted one without the "big 6 and 8". It doesn't fit great on my barrington, but it fits pretty good on my other poker table. For the diamond rubber, the topper, and the on/off puck was probably in the range of $120. It's great for teaching friends who are too intimidated to learn at the casino. Plus it's just fun to start with $300 in chips and see how far up the mountain you can climb.

I like your topper a lot. I bought this one for $30 off orange.

It was used, but in excellent shape. It fits the Barrington well. However, the odds wrong on the hard ways, I don’t care for the feature bets, and I wish there wasn’t a gap between the 6 and 8. But I couldn’t pass it up for the price.

I saw that one, but it came up right after I bought mine. Its nice that it fits the table. Buy a chunk of that diamond rubber. It's heavy and doesn't even need support ( unless you use bricks for dice). Between the topper and the rubber its a pretty space efficient craps table

When playing craps at home is the host always the bank? I've only played it a few times in the casinos in Vegas. It always sounds like its where all the action is in the casinos.

Well you can just play pass/dont pass where the shooter lays out $x and someone can cover the action or part of the action.
