This is specifically for ASM chips. I need to clean some older casino used triclubs. I've read warnings to NOT use oxy for these chips. Anyone have any recommendation other than Dawn and a toothbrush?
I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner so that's not an option.

ASM chips will dissolve in strong solutions, use a very mild soap mixture. I have also had bad luck with magic erasers on most ASM chips.

ASM are made from organic binders. So they are dissolvable or at least harmed by strong acids and bases and can be affected by some alcohols and oxidizers.
Soap and warm water is best for these. Try to avoid antibacterial as they may have bleach compounds.

Not saying other stuff won’t work, but they are more susceptible to cleaning damage than a lot of other types.

Thanks. So Dawn dishwashing liquid is ok?

Palmolive. I’m serious.

I think generally if you use harsh cleaning agents, use them gently.
If you use gentle cleaning agents you can use slightly harsher cleaning methods.

I think people have used solutions of simple green, but things like TSP and oxy will attack the surfaces pretty fast.

I’ve had good results with Sterling’s
Magic using a tooth or nail brush.

Soak in dish soap water for a few minutes, then use the Sterlings on a toothbrush or nail brush and work it around. The Sterlings is pretty mild.
